Non-formal adult education programme level A2.1 Lithuanian language course for foreigners
(160 hours, 40 days, 13.1 weeks)
Klaipeda Accounting School conducts teaching of the official Lithuanian language to people of other nationalities under the general programme of non-formal adult education funded by the Employment Service. The programme is open to both unemployed and employed people. The objective of the training programme is to develop the competences of the state (Lithuanian) language of persons of other nationalities at level A2.1 necessary for integration into the Lithuanian labour market and everyday and social life. We will systematically develop basic skills: listening, speaking, reading, and writing.

- Form communication competence in the Lithuanian language – listening, speaking, reading and writing skills, corresponding to the level A2 skills description (CEFR, 2021), enabling to communicate in the Lithuanian language on simple topics of everyday life in writing and verbally;
- Expand the vocabulary of the common language according to the topics covered by the programme;
- Develop skills in business communication, to create conditions for the use of subject language during the course, to familiarise with the norm of business communication;
- Teach to receive, comprehend and provide personal, general and professional information of a personal, general and professional nature in the Lithuanian language when communicating with the employer, in the work team and servicing clients;
- Mature participants’ valuable orientations, high culture of communication - tolerance, creativity, and to promote sociability and self-expression when communicating in the Lithuanian language;
- Help to set personal learning goals and form an attitude to improve Lithuanian language skills continuously and independently.

Courses will be held 3 times a week (I, III, V), 4 credits each day.
Lessons will be held from 10:00 to 13:30 (break 30 minutes).
Lessons will be held: remotely, via the Zoom program (live video training). You must have a device with a camera, microphone and Internet connection.
